Get involved in Richmond NACE - run for a chapter leader position!

Hi, Richmond NACE Members!

I am excited to be back on Board for a brief appearance as Past President to help with elections for the 2018 (!) Board of Directors!

Seven years ago, a small group of dedicated Event Professionals stepped forward to bring catering and event education to Richmond VA. Even though these folks worked full time in the industry as salespeople, event planners, and small business owners, they gave their time and energy to establish the Richmond VA NACE Chapter. Our young but dynamic Chapter has won National Awards for the Half-Day Workshop, NACEYs Gala, and as Chapter of the Year!

Today, I am asking YOU to step forward. Read the Intent to Run form (you can see it here!) and consider where you can give a few hours to our NACE Chapter every month. We need everymember to be involved. If you have five hours each month and a vision for the future of the Chapter, run for an elected Board position. Three hours each month, and a talent for delegating? Apply to be a Committee Chair. Do you have one hour each month and are great at completing an assigned task? Volunteer to be on a committee!
