October & November Community Service: Richmond SPCA
The Richmond SPCA has saved over 47,411 animals since becoming a no-kill shelter in 2002.
Your Richmond Chapter of NACE will be collecting items at our upcoming October and November meetings.
Generous donations of the following items keep the Richmond SPCA going and are essential to the health and happiness of our four-legged friends.

Cat scratchers for habitat doors
Step stools
Dryer sheets
Dry cat food
Small, shallow cardboard boxes or box tops that can be used as litter boxes
Six-foot dog leashes (no flexi/retractable leashes)
Non-clay cat litter (e.g. Yesterday's News or Feline Pine)
Gerber Blue label baby food (chicken and turkey only)
Kitten toys without feathers
Martingale dog collars, especially medium/large sizes
Thermal laminator
Flat sink stoppers
Foster pet care items (see below)
Gift cards for any of the following: Petco, Kroger, AC Moore, Michael's, fabric stores or office supply stores, Target, Amazon, Visa or American Express gift cards

Many household items, pet toys, beds, blankets and newspapers are needed as well. Due to the generosity of folks in RVA – they NO LONGER NEED RAWHIDES, LASER POINTERS OR DOG TREATS (other than food logs and freeze dried chicken treats).
