Meeting Recap: April 2017 at Rent-E-Quip

April’s NACE meeting was graciously hosted by Rent-E-Quip. Warren Darby did a great presentation on everything you may want to know about tent planning and renting. As the owner of Rent-E-Quip, Warren is extremely knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions on tent sizes, types and even the permitting process. His company erected a beautiful pole tent, showcasing his solid exposed wood poles and a new matching ‘faux’ wooden floor that would be the hit of any high end event. The meeting was held inside the tent, complete with French doors and air conditioning! Catering and open bar were graciously provided by IK Catering and what a spread it was! So many choices including a Meatball Bar, a Slider station with three types of sliders, a Skewer station with that covered every taste from fruit skewers to antipasto skewers and not to mention a warm crab dip that was to die for, no one left hungry! After Warren concluded his tent talk, we were all treated to a tour of their facility and warehouse. It was a great learning experience for anyone in the event or wedding profession. Again, another NACE meeting that left it’s attendees with a little more knowledge to do an even better job for their clients!
