11th Annual NACEYs Award Submissions Information

Rules and Information
Categories

  • Submissions must be completed via www.rvanace.com no later than 11:59pm on Sunday March 5th

  • Submissions and photos must be text, logo, and watermark-free  

  • Entries, except in Photographer/Videographer -only categories, may be submitted as a collage

  • Submissions will be judged in advance of THE NACEYs Gala by a panel of professionals

  • The event/styled shoot that is the focus of the submission must have taken place between 04/01/22 and 02/26/23

  • Submission file-size must be no larger than 100 MB

  • Styled Shoots are not eligible for submission except in the categories of ‘Best Styled Shoot’ category

  • Online entry form, digital image/video upload, and payment must be completed before submission will be confirmed

  • Companies/Individuals may make multiple submissions to the same category and/or submissions to multiple categories

  • NACE Richmond has the right to use THE NACEYs submission photos and information for advertising/marketing purposes

Pricing

  • NACE Richmond members receive one (1) FREE submissions per paid current membership. (must be a current member by submission deadline (03/05/23)

  • NACE Richmond member BONUS: additional one (1) FREE submission with purchase of a member ticket for the February 2023 chapter meeting.

  • Each additional submission for NACE Richmond Members is $25.00.(promo code for member discount will be sent in a separate email)

  • Each submission for Non-Members is $35.00 .

  • Best Food Display (not sweets)

  • Best Dessert Display

  • Best Cake Display

  • Best Styled Shoot

  • Best Vendor Collaboration

  • Best Hair & Make-up Design

  • Best Event Menu (provide full menu non-logo text + image/collage of food presentation)

  • Best Interactive Event Element (photo or max 1 min. video)

  • Best Use of Theme

  • Best Bar Display

  • Best Stationery Suite

  • Best Lettering Design

  • Most Creative Use of Rentals 

  • Best Floral Design

  • Best Event Centerpiece

  • Best Bouquet

  • Best Corporate Event

  • Best Cultural Event

  • Best Private Residence Event

  • Best Photo Booth Photo

  • Best Behind the Scenes (event set up, break down, not client facing  photo or video)

PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER-ONLY:

  • Best Portrait Photo (during event, not styled)

  • Best Candid Photo

  • Best Highlight Film (max. 2 min video) 

  • Best Event Photo Highlighting Virginia

CHAPTER AWARDS:

  • Member's Choice: Best Richmond NACE Chapter Meeting of 2022  NACE members vote by 3/07/23

  • Richmond NACE Member of the Year, 2022

    • NACE members nominate by 3/07/23

  • Richmond NACE Partner of the Year, 2022

    • NACE board vote by 3/07/23

Deadlines

  • The deadline for submissions is  Sunday March 5, 2023 at 11:59pm. 

Judging

  • Judging will be conducted by a third party panel prior to THE NACEYs event 

  • Award Winners will be announced at THE NACEYs on Tuesday, March 21, 2023
