NACE Richmond Chapter Community Service Project

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Richmond, VA is a non-profit organization that provides a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families. Circumstances that bring families here are unfortunate, challenging and often times tragic. Amidst the uncertainties and fears they face, the Richmond Ronald McDonald house helps to ease the burdens faced by families by offering complimentary accommodations and meals while in Richmond for treatment so the families can stay focused on what matters most: their child’s well-being.

Your Richmond Chapter of NACE will be collecting items at our August 22nd Education Workshop and at our September 26th meeting to help support the Richmond Ronald McDonald House efforts. You can show your NACE pride in the following ways:

Donate any of the following Household items needed:

  • Postage Stamps

  • Laundry Detergent

  • All-purpose bathroom cleaner

  • Windex

  • Tall Kitchen Bags

  • AA batteries

  • Paper Towels

  • Clorox Wipes

  • Scrubbing Bubbles

  • Air Freshener

They also are in need items for their Sibling Center and suggest the following most popular and inexpensive toy & game choices:

  • Crayola 48 Count Sidewalk Chalk

  • Play Doh Rainbow Starter Pack

  • Wall Pops WPE0623 Kids USA Dry Erase Map & Wall Decals

  • Toysmith 7 ft. Jump Rope

Please let us know at the next two NACE events if there is interest in a small group of NACE members signing up & serving a meal at the house located on Monument Avenue.
